What is your question?
For some reason, only in the morning, even after I've warmed up the car, when I back out or put the car in drive I'm hearing this high pitched sound, that is almost constant for the first 20 minutes. It doesn't happen any other time of the day. I'm thinking the defrost or heat may have something to do with it. Maybe a belt? I changed the water pump just in case. It's still happening.

Definitely sounds like a loose or slipping belt, often caused by a new belt that has stretched out or a cold belt that is reluctant to move. This typically happens during the winter or during the cold of the morning. It usually goes away after your car has been running for a while and the belt has some time to warm up and becomes more pliable. You should have your mechanic tighten the belt or perhaps change it if the tread on the belt is worn. This is a typical issue with most automobiles, although I have had the same problem on my 2005 Scion xA.

I just got my 2006 Scion xa. It has about 125000 miles on it. As I am driving to work I stop at the red light right beside work, after a 20 min drive, and this loud squeaking sound very high pitch started and now when I restart it does not stop? Why could it be?
