What is your question?
What will the warranty cover and what can i expect to pay out of my pocket for the repair work?

Unless there is a DEFECT , why would a clutch be under warranty??? that is a 'normal wear' item , and is VERY subject to abnormal wear , based on the drivers ability/inability to operate it properly. I've seen them fail as early as 20,000 miles and last as much as 200,000+. The ones that fail at low mileage generally have one tire that is worn a LOT more than the others , and a kid driving it!!!
Thanks for the reply, but in response to your question as why it would be covered under warranty, i would have never purchased the platinum warranty if i knew this was not covered! The car has 55,000 and i guess it was time, just bothers me the first time i need major work done on the car and none of it is covered under warranty! So what about the second part of that question, regarding the cost i can expect to pay?
WARRANTY is NOT maintenance! Yes , I believe you may have been 'scammed' a little by the sales department , however , at some point the Owner of the vehicle in question , needs to be responsible for what they 'own'! Who else , besides you , drives the car?? Like I said in my other response , 55K is pretty low for it to be worn out without either a defect or poor driving skills with a clutch.
