Never had any trouble with the starter before and have put a remanufactured starter in, same thing, just spins… Put in New Starter , again, same thing!!! I would appreciate all help and info!!! Thanks, Ritchie

Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. Are you certain the engine turns at all? Sometimes the starter motor fails because the engine is binding or seized. I certainly have no other clues that what you've shared, and have no reason to think the engine is seized (or not), but I would recommend someone put a breaker bar and socket on the crankshaft and attempt to turn the engine by hand. If it does not turn, your engine has experienced an internal catastrophic failure. If it does turn easily, then go ahead and replace the starter motor again - as even remanufactured ones can be faulty. Fingers crossed for you - and definitely reach out to a shop near you for more help if needed. https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me Click the link or call us at 877-913-1554.
