With synthetic oil you can go a longer distance between oil changes just make sure you're using the same weight oil and that you're checking your oil in when it's at an ambient temperature on a level surface. But to answer your question I'd go no more than 5K-7K between oil changes and check your oil level pretty frequently until you have a good idea of how much is getting used between changes.
