Car runs fine with no overheating but has a slight smell of antifreeze when heater is on. Was thinking maybe the heater core just not sure what else it could be?

Hello, the symptom of smelling coolant inside the vehicle is usually related to a leaking heater core or perhaps a heater hose that is leaking coolant inside the plenum where the fan blows. Another coolant leak currently under the hood could also possibly be smelled possibly because air naturally pushes into the climate control system from the engine compartment on some level anyway.
