What is your question?
The light came a couple weeks ago. A mechanic ran out of diagnostic codes to check, so I took it to a Chevie dealership. They insist it's an "oil change," light and re-set it TWICE. It's still on. The service guy said to turn on key and pump the gas pedal three times-it went off until I drove away-and came back on! Could it have something to do with the oil pressure sensor-should the re-set oil light button be re-set? Thanks!

I checked for any Tech Service Bulletins for this condition and found none. You might try following the instructions below again and see if the computer will change it's attitude. Scott Schneider - President Folsom Auto Center Inc.. Resetting the Change Oil Soon Light Remember, after changing the engine oil, the system must be reset. To reset the system: 1.Remove the cover on the fuse relay center under the hood. 2.With the ignition key in RUN and the engine off, press the red "Oil-Reset" reset button and hold for 5 seconds. If the CHANGE OIL SOON light is flashing, the system is reset. The light will flash up to 30 seconds or until the ignition is turn off. However, if the light comes on again and stays on for 30 seconds at the next ignition cycle, it did not reset. You'll need to reset the system again.
Thank you, Scott, however this is just putting a band-aid on the problem. As I stated in my original post, this procedure has been done numerous times by my mechanic, Jason from your service department, and myself, and it doesn't resolve the problem. It goes off for a minute or two, but comes back on. I had the oil changed in October and no light came on, but in late June the Service light with wrench came on, so I had it serviced in late June. They did another oil change (per service manual) "replaced a vehicle speed sensor and replaced a wheel speed signal conditioner module," per their diagnostic tests and the light remains on. My auto shop ran out of codes to check with their scanner, so recommended a Chevie dealership to perhaps have the computer "reflashed or reset." I am bringing my Vue in again on Wednesday, the 9th, and I'm requesting a diagnostic check using your more extensive computer. Will that tell the mechanic if the computer just needs to be reset? BTW, it appears I'm not the only 2002 Vue owner with this problem, but my Vue only has 27,000 miles on it and has been kept in very good condition-everything works and it runs well. Any further advice is appreciated.
