The torque converter in my transmission needs to be replaced. in order to find the correct one i need to know the model number of my transmission. my saturn is an all wheel drive.

There are two (actually 3) automatic transmission options available in this vehicle. I think the first one appears in the 3.0L engine you have but I'll give you all the info I have. For the 3.0L (to the best of my knowledge) you'll find the Aisin-Warner AF33-5 trans which has an ID plate on top of the unit, the RPO (general motors option code) is M45. That's one trans option. The 2.2L engine uses a VT-25E (the other type of trans with two choices) has ID tags on the front upper area at abut 45 degrees, it says 'HUNGARY' bercause that's where it's made. The RPO code for the All-Wheel drive is M75. the RPO for the Front-wheel drive is M16. You may want to find a Saturn specialist if this is not helpful.
