What is your question?
Where is this located & is this something I can fix? Seems to run just fine, and just passed Mass State Emissions the day before.

If it failed in the closed position you won't really have any problem, but if stuck in the open position it will create drive ability issues. Are you sure about the valve needs to be replaced? It might be a vacuum solenoid, clogged EGR pipe or intake port, etc.. It needs to be diagnosed correctly, otherwise you can spend money on unnecessary parts. Zee
Zeetech is right about having the EGR system properly diagnosed trouble codes they indicate the area the problem is in but proper testing is needed so parts are not replaced unnecessarily. Autozone have some popular workshop manuals for free on line once you register (for free) on their website http://bit.ly/autozone_repair_info or there is a company that independent auto repair shops "buy" their information from that offer a very reasonable service to do it yourselvers. You can get a one week subscription or year subscription very cheap. The information is year make and model specific repair procedures, service bulletins, component locations, wiring diagrams ect.... great quality information same as the professionals have ,much better than generic workshop manuals from parts stores, much cheaper than the factory manual try http://bit.ly/mitchell_repair_manuals_online and get an online repair manual subscription.
I stopped at AutoZone to have the code read. Came up EGR valve.
The EGR system could fail in many ways, could set different kind of DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Code) It would be good to know which one was it? It should looks like P04xx. i.e.: P0401 insufficient EGR flow detected. Unfortunately most parts store guys are not diagnostic tech. If the SES light comes on in your vehicle, I'd suggest to take it to a repair shop to get a correct diagnostic. I bet when you are sick you go to the doctor, not to the pharmacist. : ) Zee
