What is your question?
When you put the key in the ignition nothing happens. Tried to have the battery (which relatively new) jumped and nothing. Is it possibly the starter that needs to be replaced?

When you try to jump start the car do the dash warning lights come on when you turn the key or do you hear the starter even try to engage. If every thing remains dead I would look at the man fuse links or suspect the jumper cables are defective or making poor contact. Try applying the "Black" jumper cable to the engine block of your car eliminating the possibility of a bad ground cable allow the car you are jump starting with to run for five minutes or so. A battery that has failed "open" internally will render the car unable to start.
