If the valve cover is leaking bad it probably will run down to the spark plug area and once its replaced it should solve the problem

I also solved this problem with a new valve cover gasket kit. But the oil had seeped down into my cylinders and fouled all my spark plugs. You should definitely check you spark plugs for carbon build-up.
