My car doesn't put out a/c coolant. I checked the fuse box and relay. The a/c clutch doesn't click on and I tried to add fre-on to the compressor. It didn't need fre-on and now I'm needing guidance. I don't want to go ahead and replace the compressor until I have exhausted all avenues. Please help and thanks.

Clutch doesn't trigger? I had same problem. I am Copier Technician. Dissasembled clutch, found rectangular lump on electromagnet - used dikes to break open - found thermofuse - replaced with peice of wire - sealed back with epoxy - cleaned and flat emery clutch plates - been working for last year of Arizona heat. Good Luck
