Even though my sky redline is 8 years Old with 35k. Would I be needing a new battery?

Yes, it's definitely time to replace the battery!.. It is located behind the passenger side, front 'inner fender' .. A section of the fender will have to be removed as well.. Don't know your skill level but it IS a little more than the average DIYer needs to undertake .. Strongly suggest qualified hands-on help!
