I’m told my clutch is as recently replaced but today as I’m driving it wouldn’t shift into first or smh gear eventually it did and I rolled home what is going on?

Bought a 1999 sc1 manual and the clutched was replaced recently but at times my clutch peddle is pushed all the way to easily to the floor and it just won’t shift what is the problem does it have to be bled out bc it’s not all the time but I’ve got a 6 year old so one time is too many please help
