I’m being told it’s 450 dollars with 250 being from parts and the rest labor is this too much

I’ve got a 1999 sc1 and I feel I’m being ripped off is 250 in parts to fix master cylinder and 450 total including labor I’m told every where I look it’s at lest under 400 bucks oh it’s a manual transmission there was a leak as well
