What is your question?
I am about to change the shocks and struts on this vehicle. Should I change out just the strut or the whole strut assembly, including the coil spring? Do I need a coil spring compressor if I change these out and will a front end realignment be required afterwards?

If nothing is wrong with the spring, you can change just the inside strut. A coil spring compressor is needed in this case. Otherwise, see if you can get 'quick-struts' a fully complete coil and inside strut assembly. They cost considerably more but, all you do is remove the old one and bolt in the new one. A front end alignment is almost always required after strut replacement.
Thanks for the reply. It is just as I thought, replacement of just the strut with a spring compressor and an alignment afterwards.
Yup, just be careful when removing the inner strut. Don't let anything turn or twist and the new strut goes in much easier to the coil.
Thanks again for your reply.
