Hi - Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. "ECM problem" - i'm not buying it; sounds like there are trouble codes that need troubleshooting - but the truth is, before all of that, it's important to inspect the basics. Spark - are the spark plugs in good shape? How do the electrodes look? Are secondary ignition components leaking spark? Air intake - is the air filter clean; are all the hoses and tubes secure with no leaks? Is there a vaccuum leak anywhere? Fuel delivery - can you take a manual fuel pressure reading of fuel at the engine? Exhaust flow - is it free and clear? Once you can verify all those items, you'll get a lot more clarity on what is going on. https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me Click the link to find some shops near you who can help out!
