My boyfriend's nervous dog ate through my passenger seat belt. How much would it cost to replace? There have been people in online forums who have said they've been quoted 300-400 dollars... but said a DIY would run around 40 bucks for the belt. Help!

Due to liability the only one that supplies seat belts are the Saturn dealer, so the price you get quoted for parts at the dealer is about what anyone else will charge for the parts. My labor guide had no price for parts or labor but depending on what needs to be replaced I could see it costing $300 to $400. Look first at.Autozone. . Autozone have some popular workshop manuals for free on line once you register (for free) on their website http://bit.ly/autozone_repair_info There is a company that independent auto repair shops "buy" their information from that offer a very reasonable service to do it yourselvers. You can get a one week subscription or year subscription very cheap. The information is year make and model specific repair procedures, service bulletins, component locations, wiring diagrams ect.... great quality information same as the professionals have ,much better than generic workshop manuals from parts stores, much cheaper than the factory manual try http://bit.ly/mitchell_repair_manuals_online and get an online repair manual subscription.
