What is your question?
I have been told I need front brake pads and rotors replaced - i have 41,340 miles. Can they tell this from an oil change visit??

On many vehicles, you can look through the rims at the pads and rotors and tell if they need to be replaced. The best practice is to measure the pad thickness and the rotor thickness, and the shop ideally should be able to tell you what the current readings are, and what the minimum thickness is for replacement.
