Hello, The vehicle may be in limp mode, or there may be internal or electrical transmission failure. Since the vehicle is OBD-II compliant, a technician can connect diagnostic tools to the vehicle, and observe operating conditions. Your first step, should you wish to repair the vehicle yourself, is to scan the vehicle for codes. Auto parts stores do this for free most times.
