remove fuel filter

First, you have to relieve the fuel system pressure: (1)You can start the engine and remove the fuse to the fuel pump while the is running which could cause a diagnostic trouble code (not recommended by Saturn); (2) Drain off residual fuel through the Shrader valve on the fuel rail on the engine (hopefully using a fuel pressure gauge and hose set design for that purpose)and (3) open the gas cap to release any pressure there. Next, using a screwdriver depress the clip to release the fuel line and squeese two tabs to release the fuel line on the other end. Then, remove the fuel filter from the hdling bracket.
