What is your question?
I have been smelling a fuel odor for a while now (months) but there has never been any indicator lights that come on, I know it is coming from the fuel tank area, I just went to get my oil changed today and they had me come out and check under the car and there is now a presence of fuel coating the fuel tank on the passenger side where the fuel filter is located but it is not coming from the fuel filter, it seems to be coming from the top of the fuel tank, possibly the canister? So even now with fuel leaking I have no indicator lights on, any thoughts of what this could be?

Generally the fuel tank is not something monitored by the computer. The EVAP system is, but I don't think the fuel leak is coming from the EVAP. Not surprising you do not have a check engine light.
I have a 2003 Saturn L200, and I had the same problem a few months ago. I dropped the fuel tank and couldn't discover anything wrong with any of the connections. Well, I took a look at the fuel pump inside of the tank, which is made of all plastic, and since the car was made, this plastic had slowly become brittle. As it turns out, one of the plastic lines was cracked, causing gas to leak down the tank just as you describe. Unfortunately, you can't just buy the part that is broken; you have to buy the entire fuel pump. I hope this answer doesn't come too late, but I'm pretty sure you need a new fuel pump!
