Car sounds like an ATV motor. Leak around manifold.

Which manifold? I'm gonna assume exhaust manifold... So basically if you don't know how to do it youre not going to be able to do it by yourself without things like acetylene, car lift, and other tools. Shouldn't be more than 2-3 hours labor to replace
Been quoted $19 for the part. $550 for labor. I have oxy/acetylene rig. Does motor need to be pulled? Usually can find a "how to" online, but nothing out here for this. Worked on cars in younger years before all the hightech crap. Looks like it's time to crawl under one again if 3 hours = $550. I am in the wrong business. :)
Sounds a little high for the labor but I'm not sure on this car. Oxy/acetyl will help a lot. I doubt you will have to pull the motor... Maybe just remove a bunch of stuff like radiator, heat shields, hoses, etc. Depending on the condition of the car, you may have a lot of bolts or studs break which can be a pain in the ass. Make sure you got a torque wrench to torque the manifold to the correct force when you put it back on. Sorry I couldn't help more.
Appreciate any help I can get. Looks like I need to find a repair manual. Thanks, Marty
Yep a repair manual will help tremendously. Make sure tighten the bolts in the correct order. You should be able to find a diagram for doing that online. And don't forget to put antisieze on your studs and stuff
