Airbag and Service Stabilitrak lights are on

What is your question?

These lights have been on ever since I bought the car. How would you diagnose the problem? I don’t know what’s causing the airbag light. Also, last winter the Stabilitrak was able to engage so I don’t know how to find out what’s causing these issues.

Hello, these are two different systems. The Stabilitrak indicates a traction control or anti-lock brake system based area that needs attention.The air bag system is a separate entity that needs testing as well. Diagnostic testing for each system is required; the warning lights are indicating a malfunction in both areas.
