What is your question?
I just want to know If there is a way to disconnect the anti-theft device in my SAAB so it can be driven. It is over 13 years old. I had a new keyfob made; but, it is saying I now need a PCM? How could that be if it was running perfectly and was just inspected less than 2-months ago?
What makes this problem better or worse?
Cannot start the vehicle? Even with a new keyfob? The locksmith could not program the new keyfob - his diagnostic computer stated - PCM issue?
How long has your 2007 Saab 9-7x had this problem?
3 plus weeks (car has been left in my work parking lot)

"It is saying" - what is "it"? The diagnostic tool is not telling you that you need to replace the PCM, it is saying there is a concern present. Likely there is a relationship issue between the "new key fob" and the PCM. The vehicle must be programmed for a relationship to exist with the new key. I would suggest that you need to seek the guidance of a GM dealership that can work on the anti-theft key programming of this vehicle. Additionally, it could be that your new key is not compatible for some reason. Use this link to find some shops near you that can help with your concern: www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
