My Rear lift gate is stuck closed but I can hear the electronic lock disengage.

No it is not, something is causing excessive force on the bearings. Have front suspension checked probably struts/shocks. Lock probably just sticking and needs to be greased otherwise, the plastic clip to the release bar has separated and needs replaced.
