What is your question?
Me and my mom were driving to work on morning and my car randomly started shaking and the engine light came on for the first time, flashing. We pulled over and turned it off. We turned it back on and it still was shaking so we went ahead and went up a steep hill because we had to get to work. It made it up the hill but it's took awhile. We had it looked at and it turned out the camshaft (?) sensor went bad so I had to order it and wait a few days to get it. My moms husband replaced it. But it was still shaking. We took it back to a car store and it turned out my #4 spark plug went bad. My mom got it replaced while I was away. She said she thinks she told them a 9-3 not a 9-5. Would that matter? I ended up replacing all spark plugs. Found out the vacuum line connecter (?) was completely fried. I got it replaced but it was for the year 1999-2003. Would that matter? It drive safe better for sure after it sits for hours. But after about 25 minutes or so, the light flashes and it shakes.
What makes this problem better or worse?
After it sits for awhile, it’s okay. After a bit driving, the engine light flashes and it shakes for about a minute and then it stops. It repeats.
How long has your 2006 Saab 9-5 had this problem?
A month

You really need a knowledgeable mechanic to perform the required *hands-on* testing to determine what the actual failure is.. You stated "car store" - that indicates a facility other than an actual automobile repair shop. Flashing check engine light denotes an engine misfire - it is likely caused by a failed ignition component .. Quite possibly an ignition coil..
