Cannot read display/won't start/clicking noise and lights work.

TEST battery , then clean(remove terminals) the battery connections. Then if that doesn't work , TEST the solenoid at the starter for battery voltage (PARKING BRAKE ON AND SOMEONE IN THE CAR WITH FOOT ON BRAKES , CLUTCH IN) while the key is turned to the 'crank' position. Use voltmeter NOT test light , so you KNOW proper voltage is getting where it needs to!
