Show them a copy of the TSB (technical Service bulletin), and have them flash the engine control module with the updates. If a dealership isn't close, then go to a qualified mechanic in your area to see if they have the capability to re-flash the ECM. TSB below may pertain to your issue. It involves a flash of the ECM.
