2009 Porsche Cayenne S Rear hatch.

2009 Porsche Cayenne S Rear hatch opens via FOB, tailgate button (near license plate), and rocker arm on driver's door as normal. However, the tailgate close button (bottom inside of gate) does not respond to auto close. If you hold button any length of time there is a beep, so there is power but no response. Any ideas?
