What is your question?
I have a 2008 Porshe cayyene and I and somebody replace my valve cover and I changed the breather tube and the final code I had was p0206 so I got a new connector for the coil and I’m still getting that code and now the engine light blinks and it’s not picking up the race like it used to

Hi, I'm one of the auto experts on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Great question, and thanks for the detail! On your 2008 Porsche Cayenne a P0206 code refers to a misfire for cylinder 6 specifically, so while replacing the coil connector was a reasonable step it was clearly not the root cause if the code is still present. A blinking check engine light is particularly important to pay attention to as it indicates an active misfire severe enough to potentially damage the catalytic converter, which means this really shouldn't be driven until the issue is resolved. The injector itself, the injector wiring harness, ignition coil, spark plug or the ECM could all be contributing to this code persisting after the connector replacement. It is also possible that, since the light wasn’t flashing before the connector replacement, something was done incorrectly with that repair. Given that recent work was done on the valve cover and breather tube it would also be worth having a shop verify that everything was properly reassembled and that no wiring was disturbed during that repair. Porsche diagnostics really require specialized equipment and expertise, and with a blinking check engine light I’d strongly recommend having a qualified shop address this as soon as possible to avoid potential catalytic converter damage.
