This sounds like one of two things: a bad body control module/wiring or a rodent infestation. Rodents chew up everything, and Livermore has more than it's fair share from the surrounding fields.
You only have two real options: Pull covers and look for damaged wires and rodent feces, or take it to the shop. The good news is that you will likely have physical damage to look at.
