while driving car runs fine at first when it gets warm it just bogs down and won't go. after turning it off and restarting runs fine for awhile and the does the same thing

On Boxster with this problem, the best thing to do is to do a full systems computer scan. There is most like a data stream value that is out of spec. I would carefully look at Long Term Fuel Trim. You will need a Porsche savy shop to do this.
I had the same problem for months and months, I think this was caused by me when I was washing the car. I had all the computer checks done said everything was ok, since then, when I wash the car I cover the air vents on the side since then all ok for the last 5 months, making sure I uncover the vents after washing, also changed 6 coils which needed doing. Hope this helps
sorry forgot to say that i think water was getting in, mines a boxster 1999, think water was afecting the mass air flow sensor, the car would be fine until about 40 miles then just stop, since iv been more carefull washing her she has been ok.
