remote not locking doors and alarm

still no solutions/answer to this problem yet, it is not the remote battery, i think when i lock manually with the key the car should not make a beep, if it makes a beep is it because there is an open door/hood/ trunck/open alarm contact or what?

I believe the next step would be to connect a scan tool and read out all the codes in the vehicle. There are only a few places that have the appropriate equipment to do this, so you'll need to take it to a Porsche repair facility. I would also ask them to look at Technical Service Bulletins for Porsche, there may be related info that will help address this. Good Luck

SPRSPR I have the same problem and did a web search to find out if there was a fix and thus found your inquiry. Did you find a solution that you could share?

found that it was coming from the ingnition key mecanism this was replaced and its all good, of course $500 later
