had battery checked its ok. my car will not turn over

Hello, This is probably a bad starter or starter relay. Try this and let me know how it goes: -Locate the starter -locate the starter relay -next time it does not start, have someone turn the key to start while you put a finger on the starter relay. If it does not click on, test the relay. If it clicks on, you'll be able to feel it, and the next step is to tap on the starter a little bit. What I think is happening is that the starter has a bad spot where it is unable to turn. It may be able to catch sometimes but not others. If tapping on the starter makes it start the engine, you will want to replace it.
