What caused engine light on ,why didn't the shop performed a diagnostic test?

In my previous message I was waiting on the shop to tell me what was wrong. Well, they call and said, they were replacing the Radiator, water pump and hoses. I pickup the torrent Friday, and drove it Sat. about 74 or so miles. Sunday I rest. Monday getting ready to start the car and within 5 min. the engine light started flashing. I turn off the engine and checked my gas cap. Then tried it again. the light came on. I ask my husband to give it a try before he leave. He called and said that the care did not even get hot before he saw that the engine light was on. I texted the shop and explain to them about the light. He said he will call me when he get thing going at the shop first. As of today no call which was my second request to speak to him about my car. What suggestion can anyone out there give.

My suggestion is that you talk to management about your vehicle to find out what is going on and explain to them your service experience and the fact you are not getting updates as needed. This behavior is also compounding your lack of trust of the shop, and rightfully so.
