Get 4 signal beebs every time we start the car and cd not working

Have you verified that you have a known good battery in the vehicle now? Not sure about the CD player or the beep signals; there could be a warning light not working, resulting in beeps instead -- some vehicles do that. But if you have a battery that is weak in any way, strange electrical things can happen. Good to start there.
