after changing bcm radio is locked and wont play

Either an unlock code needs to be entered in the radio head or the new BCM requires a software flash. Not sure which I can try and look later. Either way if you don't have a code you are likely going to need to be the dealer to retireve one or flash. New tech...it is what it is
