The check engine does not go on st all so it won't pass inspection what could be

Will it set a code. By this I mean if you unplug a sensor like the tps will the vehicle set a retrievable code. By knowing this we can determine if the pcm is capable of reading codes. I would start here. Thank you Alan@ Everett transmission
