Why does my a/c heat make a strange warbling noise when I have switch on defrost

Sharett has replaced air compressor two times, replaced Orpheus (not sure of the spelling) the mechanics at Sharett said they was clueless to What's causing the noise but they claimed another pontiac solstice was Making the exact same noise as mine.... Any ideas what's causing this? Thx, Randy
