What did you find out? I had the same Problem last night (8/28/13) after picking my 09 Solstice up from the dealer (Warranty water pump replacement - many trips in with various replacements since new). I drove it straight back to the dealer and don't know what to expect yet. there are lots of posts about this problem on various forums.

Some customers may comment that the ignition key cannot be removed from the ignition cylinder. Check for power and ground in the ignition circuit. Verify for proper connection/contact at circuit D1, connector (C4 or X4) at the BCM.
