I store my soltice in the winter zipped up in a car bag. I just brought it out to find it hasn't any brakes. I didn't see any signs of animals living under the car and couldn't understand how any could have gotten in when the car bag was zipped up tight. Any ideas where to begin to look? The car has only 4000 miles

Hello, Make sure the brake fluid reservoir is full, then start pumping the brakes. Somewhere along the brake lines, brake calipers, ABS module, master cylinder, and brake hoses, you may find a leak emerging. If you do not find a leak, you likely have an issue inside the master cylinder, where the seals for the pistons have worn out. That would be the case if the brake pedal sinks to the floor with no brake application whatsoever. If you are pressing the brakes hard, but still not getting any braking force, the vacuum booster may have degraded over time, and require replacing. You can vacuum test the brake booster to see if it holds vacuum pressure or leaks.
To add, cars are made to be driven.. they sit they break, leak, all kinds of weird stuff. Have to unzip that thing on decent days if you want it to not have its own credit report
