What is your question?
It happens rather frequently. It's almost like it isn't getting fuel. Sometimes it won't go above 30 miles an hour going down the road or it will not go up a hill at all like it doesn't have any power. Sometimes when pushing on the gas pedal, the van won't even move while in drive.
What makes this problem better or worse?
The warmer the engine gets
How long has your 2005 Pontiac Montana had this problem?
A few weeks

I assume the check engine light is on, go get the code read at a shop or auto parts store and that will go a long way towards narrowing down the cause.
Yes it is on. However, it came back with multiple codes
Which codes?
My best guess without knowing the codes is a problem with the throttle body or maf sensor. Fault codes won't give you a magic answer but will help narrow down the problem.
The codes are: P0128 P0131 P0171 P0300 P1106 P1811
Check your intake tube and make sure it didn't fall off or has a big tear or something. The part going from your air filter housing to the engine. Also make sure your maf/map sensor is plugged in. Wouldn't surprise me if that's the problem. Could cause all those codes.
lemme know if that was it...if not I've got more ideas
I will do that tomorrow. Thanks for helping
Where is the maf/map sensor located?
My son and I took the intake tube off and removes the maf/map sensor and completely cleaned both. Inside behind the air filter was full of leaves and buds from the trees. We cleaned all of that out. The van fired right up with no hesitation and the check engine light is off. We let it set for awhile and it fired right up again and stayed sreadily idling. I'm hoping this fixed it. If not, I will let you know. Again, thank you for all your help. It is most definitely appreciated more than you know.
Excellent! I'm glad I could help!
That didn't fix it. We changed the MAP sensor today and after doing so it fired up then died a couple of times then we got it started again. I drove it a short was and it did fine until I had to turn around and come back home. It started hesitating and with the pedal pushed all the way to the floor it still wouldn't go. I pulled over and warmed it up and it would still hesitate. Came our about 2 hours later and it fired up and I got just down the road from my house and again pedal to the floor and couldn't move.
