What is your question?
Isn't there a reader connected to my Ignition switch that gives Fault Codes on My Dash Board? My 2001 Pontiac Montana won"t start. It overheated on my wife, and was cooled by the time I got too it. I drove it 5 miles too home where it actually died as I was pulling in the driveway and will not start. Disconnected the Fuel line Downstream from the fuel filter and Fuel is delivered when the key is on, Not sure the PSIG. Locked the doors for 20 minutes and it turns over and actually ran for 10seconds today but then died. Now, back to square 1. Dudes, I need My Van and have no $ for a mechanic. I can build you any kind of building you want but I can't fix my own car. But I'm learning from this my last Pontiac. My option is to request a Free car to work out of and soon Live in if I can't work.
What makes this problem better or worse?

Hello, unfortunately, there is no one at this forum who can offer a free car, nor anyone who can repair your vehicle for you or provided a method of diagnostic testing that can be performed without proper test equipment. I'm sorry to say you'll need to obtain hands on inspection help near you. Further - although you may be frustrated with your vehicle, it's also 19 years old. Doesn't matter if it's Pontiac or Honda or Toyota or Ford -- at 19, things go wrong! A fuel pressure test at the fuel rail using a pressure gauge is needed. Checking the ignition system for spark is needed. Checking the air intake for restrictions and / or unmetered air leaks is needed. That's just scratching the surface.
