Why do my headlights go to high beam after using the turn signal?

Sounds like the multifunction switch is worn.

The switch is worn out, replace it.

Operator Error! You are inadvertently moving the lever to high beam when signaling !!!! Seems to be worse when cold outside... You wearing gloves?? Just saying!
