What is your question?
2006 Grand Prix GXP V8 5.3L Last winter and again this winter the gas pump clicks off non-stop while fueling my car. It doesn't matter if it's empty or half full. It takes forever to fill my tank in the winter. I have no problems with it in the summer. I have tried pulling the gas pump out a little, turning it side ways and upside down it doesn't matter.

it's not the fuel pump nozzle or the pump at the gas station. more than likely the "Canister Vent Valve" is stuck and not allowing the fuel vapors to escape while pumping fuel, and the pump at the gas station thinks your car is full and clicks off. don't EVER overfill it..when fixed and filling up and the nozzle at the gas station clicks off the FIRST time, then that is full enough..don't try and fill it to the rim!
How do i fix it? The v8 5.3l doesnt have a vapor canister acording to Napa.
from what i am seeing, the canister is mounted on top of the fuel tank and the tank will have to be dropped if the canister is bad to replace it...NOW the Canister Vent Valve Solenoid is located below like where you pump the gas in the filler neck..copy and paste the link below, look at the picture..this is a paid site, but you don't pay because someone else has already asked that question..when the screen turns dark, just click on the drop down arrow to the right and the page will get bright again..
