We’ll just do it this way: - these are the CRANKSHAFT position sensor part numbers: 3.1L = SU137 - - 3.8L = SU198 - - - google part number - look at images .. Each sensor is distinctly different as is the installation procedures. Locations - based upon personal *hands-on* installation of each : 3.1L - firewall side - just above the oil pan - center of engine. 3.8L - front of engine - behind the crankshaft balancer. Good luck!
