Car cranks but won't start,replaced fuel pump,fuel spray,fuel filter

1989pontiac grand am 2.5 4cyc,it's got spark

Assuming it has proper fuel delevery and spark (?) .. Suspect 'engine' timing issue .. Compression test next step .. IF compression is low, strongly suggest contacting auto repair shop as this engine has unique gear to gear timing components that require special tools and talent to replace - successfully! ..
