It drops to 10 when I try to start the car. Would it effect the starter?

Hey Bear3, The battery should drop when cranking, it will not hurt anything, and it is just because the battery is under extreme load. I like to see a healthy 10.4 at least, and if I see below 10.0 I charge the battery and try again. If it doesn't improve it is trash.
