What is your question?
My vehicle was running along fine until one afternoon when it wouldn't start - turned key, and got absolutely nothing. Was diagnosed with code P0615, dealer replaced (under federal emmissions warranty until 80,000 mi - mine had 77,000. . .) however charged 2 hours of labor "rewiring" the 32 x 1 starter circuit in engine compartment harness = $226. When I picked up the car and started it, the Service Air Bags light came on. They cleared the code and assured me air bags were fine. Now the radio clock resets and the 6 cd cycles through all cd's when I start the car again. And now the Service Tire Monitor light appears.

Obviously something is not quite right. Sounds like maybe a power wire that remains hot at all times may be in question, since things are 're-initializing" every time, like the radio circuit. The tire monitor light - could just be a low tire - even though you've been having this trouble. I would recommend having the shop look at their work one more time. Good luck, -Dave
I did take it back to the shop today. When I started the car this morning, the clock again reset, the Service Tire Monitor Light appears, and the Service Air Bags light reappeared. I did check tire pressure (although that is a different warning signal that appears - says "Low Tire Pressure" as I have had to have a tire repaired in the past) and all was fine. I called the shop, mainly concerned about the air bags; I had been told by another mechanic that the air bags will not deploy with that code thrown. The shop said they could take a look at it next week sometime. I expressed a safety concern and he said " well the air bags may or may not work. . . hard to say. . . ". That was unacceptable to me, so I stopped in and talked with the GM. They kept the car and gave me a loaner. I'll take note of the hot wire suggestion. Someone else had suggested maybe it's a ground wire issue somewhere??? I'll keep you posted and thanks for the response Dave!
To clarify - when the air bag warning light is on, the system is de-powered...and the bags will not deploy. However, if there is a short, you have a tiny tiny chance that the air bags could deploy when you turn the key on, before the system shuts off due to a fault. I have seen this once before, and truly doubt it will happen for you. Sounds like the shop you are dealing with is disinterested. Give them this one shot. Great job talking to the GM. You did the absolute right thing. Now, if you don't get the action you want, you will at least have tried, and when you take it somewhere else, you can always take them the bill if they are responsible...
My grand daddy has an 2008 pontiac G6 & had the same problem before and it is your car battery except as for the tire monitoring system it is the sencors on each tire that has to be replaced and they priced at $400.00.hope this helps you.
