Depends on who is rebuilding it... Lifetime warranty: $1500-2000 Anything less: $0 I have to do mine too. But mine has 200,000 miles. My mechanic is getting a transmission from the junkyard and using that. The junk yard here even offers a warranty on the transmissions they pull from wrecked cars. I expect to pay about $800 - but that is my guy saving my butt again. This is a serious repair. A rebuild is even more serious and requires a highly skilled person to do it right. Use your local tranny shop. It's a $2000 job you only want to have to pay for once.
